Best Christmas 2019 Cat Tree

Best Christmas 2019 Cat Tree

The Best gift you can give your cat got a lot easier to give. This cat tree is the best value you will find and costs less than half of the price of similar cat trees in pet supply stores. This cat tree is even more affordable than those offered by Costco and it has more features as well.

This 72 inch tall, attractive and practical cat tree from Go Pet Club is great for climbing (it is 6 feet tall), scratching (it has 10 scratching posts built in!), sleeping (this cat tree has three tall platforms and two boxes) and playing. My cats use this tree every day. They use it by themselves to get a good climb and perch to look out the window and scratch their claws. They use it together to chase each other up and down and play king of the mountain. This is great exercise for them and a great, efficient use of floor space for me in an apartment. I would much rather let my cats take advantage of vertical space which they love anyway than get a large toy that takes up floor space and moves around getting in the way. This cat tree can be set up in a corner and left for years while my cats get use out of it every day. My recommendation for the best Christmas 2019 cat tree is the Go Pet Club cat tree.

Is a Cat Tree Worth the Cost?

If you get a little cat “tree” that is only 2 feet tall and costs $50 or $70, no! I am shocked at how many tiny “trees” I see. They cannot seriously by called “trees” when they are not even as tall as the cat! These do not provide any of the benefits of a true cat tree such as exercise and letting cats be up high where they like to be. These are a waste of money. If you pay $300 for a larger cat tree it might be a bit too much for your budget as well. This is why I was thrilled to find the GoPetClub cat tree for less than a third the price of others since it is 6 feet tall and has more platforms, scratchers and ways for a cat to play than any cat tree I have seen in pet supply stores.

If you have pets and go to PetSmart, PetCo or other such stores, look at the cat trees. You will see they are all over $100 and a really large one (which is still not as tall as this tree) will be over $200. It won’t have 10 scratching posts either. This may seem like overkill but there is not much that can stand up to a cat’s claws every day. Eventually, scratchers get torn up. By having 10 scratchers built in, cats have lots of options (which they like) to scratch from the floor or up high and it will be a long time before they wear any of them out. I have 4 cats. 2 of them are large 15 pound boys who are quite rough and really scratch up a storm on these. If my tree can stand up to several years of use by 4 cats, you can see how this tree costing under $80 is a great deal! You would seriously pay that much just for the scratchers alone let alone a 6 foot tall cat tree with platforms, house boxes, dangling mouse toys, ramps and ample room to play.

Therefore, I have to say Yes, the Go Pet Club Cat Tree is worth the money several times over. I don’t recommend any product I don’t believe in. I don’t accept paid advertising so you can be sure I am not recommending a product because someone asked me to or paid me to. I recommend this cat tree because I have it in my own home and I have compared it to many others.

What Are the Pros and Cons of This Cat Tree?

There are many pros for the Go Pet Club 72 Inch Cat Tree:

  • Tall for efficient use of space and meets to your cat’s desire to be up high.
  • Sturdy. Some people ask if this will tip over. I have 4 cats, 2 of which are 15 plus pounds. They are rowdy boys who play rough and chase each other up and down. This cat tree has never come close to tipping over. It is very stable and sturdy.
  • Attractive. It looks nice and comes in multiple colors to match your decor. Currently beige, blue and leopard print are the options but I have seen brown, grey and black as well.
  • Best Value Available for a tall cat tree. I have looked and this is the best value I have found.
  • Gives your cat exercise. Because it is tall and has many platforms and levels, your cat will get exercise using it. The taller the better for exercise.
  • Has 10 scratching posts. This is huge since the scratching posts alone (or getting one and always replacing it when it wears out) would cost you as much as the entire cat tree! Keep cat scratching at the cat tree and save your furniture. My cats scratch on these every day.

Cons

You have to put it together yourself. However, this will be the case with many cat trees you can find anyway. With shipping to your door it is still easier than trying to move a huge cat tree that won’t fit in a car or SUV. It is not hard to put together and no additional tools or parts are required.

The platforms and boxes are not padded. They have a layer of very soft, plush fabric but there is not padding like some plush cat trees now offer.

Smaller Cat Tree Options

Go Pet Club has other cat tree options such as a smaller 62 inch version with hammock and soft, bowl shaped bed that would be nice if you don’t want the 72 inch tree. This cat tree currently comes in 5 color options. Check colors for different prices. The one I have pictured below is cheaper than other colors. It also has a nice rung ladder and other features that are different.

      Hello Rose,

I can’t tell you since shipping is entirely up to the seller. However, it says if it is ordered today it would get here around Dec. 27th-30th. That also depends where you are located however. That date range is for my location.

No, there is probably not a warranty but Amazon has a return policy.

      Hello Rodarrick,

I was very happy to see how happy my cats were to get this tree. They checked it out immediately and being cats they were curious about it before it was even set up. They have been using every day since.

      Thanks,

      Jessica

Cat tress are really good for cats to play with and also exercise, the only problem is getting the best of it. I’ve seen a tree that fell on the  cat and injured it, since you’ve said this is tall but with a very good grip and stance to the ground, it’s no problems. I’ll share it to some of my friends with cats, thanks.

Wow. You really got me. I want to give this gift to my mother who has 2 cats. He even wondered if he would decorate the Christmas tree and how the cats would react. Last year they took down the Christmas tree and it was a very funny moment in our family.
This year the cats will have their own tree to stand on and I hope that the focus on the Christmas tree will be less.

Thanks a lot for sharing with us such an amazing article about this cat trees. Wish you the best!

      Hello,

It is handy to have a tall place for cats that is their own. It helps keep cats from going where they are not supposed to and scratching the furniture as well.

      Thanks,

    Hello Jessica!

This is really a beautiful cat tree! I remember that my mother had such a tree in her room as well, it may have been 6-7 feet tall, and maybe it was a Christmas gift too (I don’t know this exactly). She is also a great cat lover, and there were times she had 10-12 cats (boys and girls) at home (and a black Caniche female dog!).

So your Go Pet Club cat tree in the article looks somewhat familiar to me, since I saw such a special thing in my mother’s apartment.

It is lovely to see a cat tree with several levels (like in a block of flats)!

    Kind regards, Peter
